The ES 350 was included with a six-speed automatic transmission, whilst the hybrid ES 300h models included an eCVT. Despite the fact that the redesigned ES as well as the Toyota Camry (XV50) still share the identical platform, the 2 main vehicles are somewhat less mechanically related, because the ES has become more closely linked to the Toyota Avalon (XX40) that uses a 2,800 mm (111 in) wheelbase. The interior added the Lexus Remote Touch interface. The Lexus ES 250 made its world debut for the April 2012 Auto China in Beijing. This car has a 2.5-liter inline-four engine plus a six-speed automatic transmission. ES 250, ES 300h, and ES 350 models are offered in China. Production began 6 July 2012 on the Miyata plant in Miyawaka, Fukuoka.
