Black Diamond has even gone as far as making the other mermaid princesses hate Indigo Keen to make it seem like she was working for her, and even told Indigo Keen that she was as weak as her parents, and went as far as tricking Indigo into getting the found bubblegem pieces so she could see her dead mother again. But her motives of her current self are far different from her past, former self. In her past, she was always curious about the human land like Purple Star, she used to laugh, she liked to watch sunsets and even had a soft spot for humans, which was best shown in her befriending Alex, a fishermen. 3.
