Austin Prock threw down a huge 3.920 ET at 331.94 MPH during Q4 at the NHRA Route 66 Nationals in the Motorcraft Quick Lane Nitro Mustang Dark Horse Funny Car. The final qualifying session at Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, Illinois delivered the team’s best run of the weekend and locked Prock into the No. 3 qualifying position heading into Sunday eliminations. “That was a ripper right there,” said Prock after the run. “That was a nice, smooth run that just set me back in the seat. That’s a good momentum booster going into Sunday. We’re ready for it.” Prock will face Jeff Arend in the opening round on race day.
