The Chevrolet SSR (Super Sport Roadster) is a retro-styled and retractable hardtop convertible coupé utility manufactured by Chevrolet between 2003 and 2006. During the 2003 and 2004 model years, the SSR used General Motors' 5.3 L 300 hp (224 kW; 304 PS) Vortec 5300 V8.
