2238.4 LBS total weight - 413.9 HP 8000rpm Redline The McCoppin Automotive Design RS 911 is our rendition of the ultimate road-going 911. Combining years of racing experience with the 911 platform, we created a car that is an unrivaled precision drivers instrument. A Porsche with the ultimate balance of tradition and innovation. McCoppin Automotive Design has extracted all the best features from all eras of the 911 (both street and race cars), to create the best possible drivers instrument. A ground-up re-engineering of Porsche’s G-series Chassis. Based on the 964 engine case, the McCoppin Automotive Design a.k.a. M.A.D. 4.0 L air-cooled motor, was developed in an effort to achieve the greatest possible horsepower from a naturally aspirated air cooled 911 engine. All component within the engine are bespoke and built to McCoppin Spec. In fact, the only factory components remaining are the engine case and cam bridges. Everything else is bespoke. Our entire rotating assembly is custom-made including our 4.0 L billet crankshaft. From our unique individual throttle-body, fuel injection system, to our custom cast & machined cylinder heads, to our McCoppinMade, port-matched stainless and titanium exhaust system. We have optimized airflow through the entire engine, as well as chassis. Starting with a G-Series 911, we strip the car down to bare metal. In addition to fitting the McCoppinMade front and rear bumpers, and wide-body fenders, we structurally reinforce (TIG Weld) the chassis in 17 different locations, for safety, chassis rigidity, and weight savings. Our vehicles chassis are 100% steel just as it would have left the factory. Our front and rear bumpers are composite Our hood is available in aluminum or carbon fiber Learn more about our shop and projects at McCoppinMade.com
