One Minute Walk-around: Honda Avancier
This is the Honda Avancier, a sporty five-seat coupe SUV for the Chinese market. The Avancier is made locally by the Guangzhou-Honda joint venture. It was launched earlier this year, price ranges from $32,000 to $47,000. There are two engines available: a 1.5 turbo with 193hp and a 2.0 turbo with 272hp. The 1.5 turbo is mated to a CVT, the 2.0 turbo to a 9-speed automatic. The Avancier is all-wheel drive. Its looks are dividing; many say it is too bloated, but I think it looks very strong.
