Seems like urban folks would rather live in the forest if vehicle choice is any indication. SUV/crossovers are the number one pick these days, and these machines are only getting more rugged looking. The 2026 GMC Terrain AT4 is the perfect example. It sports 17-inch wheels with all-terrain tires but backs up the fashion with a retuned off-road suspension and protection for the drivetrain. Plus recovery points (in red, naturally). Tom Voelk finds AT4 will get you down the trail a little further and looks good doing it. A little more power and access to a better sound system wouldn’t hurt. TURN ON NOTIFICATIONS BY CLICKING THE “BELL” BUTTON AFTER SUBSCRIBING! The GMC Terrain is a crossover SUV by American manufacturer General Motors under its GMC marque. Sharing its platform with the Chevrolet Equinox, the first-generation Terrain was built on GM's Theta platform, while subsequent generations are built on the Delta platform. The Terrain is the smallest GMC vehicle, slotted below the Acadia. It also indirectly replaced the Pontiac Torrent which was typically sold via the same dealers prior to General Motors dropping the Pontiac brand.
