The Ford Model T Barn/Garage shows some of the Ford Model T's and a Model T setup for snow. It also has a large display of a garage and tools of the time period. Most of the Model T's are actually stored in a separate building which is closed during normal hours. This video is just a small sample of all the Gilmore Car Museum has to offer. I say "museums" because it is a collection of car museums. This shows just a small amount of what is there, and we could have spent several days or even a week at the Gilmore Auto Museum. It was a marathon trip to Michigan and back... and all of us are tired. The driving portion of the trip was about 1,000 miles north to Michigan, and 1,000 miles south back home.. including the side trip to pick up my parents for the trip. We made it to the Gilmore Car Museum after a day at the Old Car Festival... and a day at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn Michigan. We drove about an 1-2 hours west to the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, MI (just south of Grand Rapids).... which is southwest Michigan. It has been over 40+ years since it ran last... and the whole car was disassembled over 62+ years ago. The engine was rebuilt but never ran... and actually was seized for many years.
