Buckler Backbone BB2 debut at Prescott, 14 May 2017
The last car design of Derek Buckler of Buckler Cars. Found in pieces with the underbody completely missing. The car only requires work on the original upper body panels to finish restoring and was driven for the first time ever since the 1960's, in a restricted speed cavalcade up Prescott speed hillclimb, with several other Buckler cars. The owner driver is Simon Ambrose, the grandson of Derek Buckler and carried Derek Buckler's son Malcolm Buckler as passenger. The Buckler car in front is Keith & Carol Thomas's 1952 supercharged Mark 5. Wind got in the microphone of my hand held pocket camera badly so the live sound had to be removed.
