Toyota Camry-From 1980-2017-Time Lapse
Toyota Camry from 1980-2017 Time Lapse: The history of the Toyota Camry begins with the Toyota Celica. The Camry name was introduced in Japan in January 1980 when it was applied as a designation for four-door saloon versions of the second-generation Celica (see video above), which, rather confusingly, bore little relation to the Celica itself but used mechanicals and a lengthened chassis donated by the second-generation Toyota Carina. The short-lived Celica Camry should therefore be strictly viewed as a predecessor to the series production Toyota Camry, which launched in its own right in the familiar transversely mounted front engine, front-wheel drive format in March 1982. - Subscribe: http://www.youtube.com/c/GVCHS
