Nelson's Last Drive
The B2 Passat's last drive before he got stripped to pieces and the remains sent to the metal recyclers. As you can see, the engine's shot and the exhaust just emits blue smoke. There was oil leaking all over the engine. Sadly no one wanted it so it got scrapped. Nelson was a 1984 VW Passat that was built in Germany for the South African market. He was privately imported to Australia in 1986. 2.2l 5 cyl engine, he would have been a lovely car to drive once upon a time however by the time we got hold of him he'd fallen into disrepair. We removed the gearbox to install in our B1 Passat, plus some other parts. His bits will live in on in several cars!
