Ford Focus Electric at Test Track
Disclaimer: Ford flew me to Dearborn and let me drive their all electric Focus. Bill Ford owns the Focus Electric, serial number 1. Just thought you should know. It is quiet. Almost too quiet. I didn't put any music in the driving portions of the video because I wanted you to hear how absolutely quiet it is. All you get is wind, road, and tire noise. The Electric motor has some good torque and I decreased its range by 1 mile on our loop. I did also notice the circle that indicates regenerative braking, building charge back into the battery. Hence the awkward hand motions. You'll see.
