All New 2014 Aston Martin V12 Vantage S- Exterior Details and Engine

This is the most hardcore yet awesome sports car ever made by Aston Martin, the 2014 Aston Martin V12 Vantage S. Aston Martin mentions that the 2014 V12 Vantage S is the fastest accelerating production car, but also the fastest Vantage ever produced in the company's 100-year history. "The new V12 Vantage S is, simply, pure Aston Martin. It is extreme in its nature yet truly timeless in its design language. Learning from our successes on the track feeds the development of this type of car and I'm proud to launch such an exciting sports car in this, our centenary year," said Aston Martin Chief Executive Officer Dr Ulrich Bez. Under the hood lies a naturally aspirated AM28 5.9-liter V12 engine which makes 573 PS/565 hp and 620 Nm of torque, up from 570 Nm previously. Hence, it can accelerate from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 3.9 seconds and reaches its top speed of 330 km/h (205 mph), just shy of the 350 km/h (217 mph) mark achieved from the One-77 hypercar. It is mated to a 7-speed single clutch automated manual transmission which also includes paddle shifters. The firm claims that the new transmission provides motorsport-style paddle shift changes for optimum performance delivery and efficiency. This transmission is 28 kg lighter than the previous 6-speed manual transmission found in the V12 Vantage.
