The third generation Mini (F56) was unveiled by BMW in November 2013, with sales starting in the first half of 2014. A battery-electric version, the Mini Electric (aka Cooper SE), was launched in 2020. BMW's Mini models are produced in Cowley, Oxfordshire, England, at Plant Oxford, and since July 2014, at VDL Nedcar (the former DAF/Volvo plant) in Born, Netherlands.
