Ahmedabad to Mumbai in a Mercedes-Benz A-Class Limousine A 200 Petrol — 29th September 2026

In this episode of The Parikh Pulse, I take my Mercedes-Benz A-Class Limousine A 200 Petrol from Ahmedabad to Mumbai, starting the journey at around 1:00 AM and reaching Mumbai by the afternoon. What should have been a straightforward highway drive turned into a much more interesting road-trip experience. 😄 We were travelling with friends, including one friend travelling in an EV, and their car needed to be recharged near Bharuch. That meant taking a diversion away from the main highway to reach the charging location — and what followed was almost an unexpected off-road adventure! 😂 The diversion added considerable time and turned what would normally be a smooth highway journey into a combination of expressway cruising, smaller roads, rough stretches and some seriously interesting driving conditions. 🚗 The Journey We leave Ahmedabad at approximately 1:00 AM, taking advantage of the quieter roads and cooler overnight conditions. The Mercedes-Benz A-Class Limousine makes the long-distance drive extremely comfortable, with the A 200 petrol engine, automatic transmission and premium cabin making the overnight journey enjoyable. As the sun comes up, the landscape gradually changes as we make our way through Gujarat towards Maharashtra. Then comes the unexpected part of the trip — the Bharuch EV charging detour! Because our friend's EV needed a charge, we had to leave the main route and head towards the charging point. The road conditions became increasingly rough, uneven and narrow in places. At one point, it felt less like a highway road trip and more like an impromptu off-roading expedition! 😅 Eventually, we get back onto the main route and continue towards Mumbai.
