That would leave Honda without a fully electric vehicle in its U.S. lineup in 2027. The Prologue launched as a quick-entry midsize electric SUV using GM’s BEV3 platform, offering up to 308 miles of EPA range. Pricing started around **$47,400**, and higher trims, including all-wheel drive, climbed to **over $58,000**, with a bit less range. Sales momentum has faded fast: after nearly **39,000** Prologues sold in **2025**, Honda sold just **1,731** in the U.S. in the first two months of **2026**, down about **75%** year-over-year. Honda is also canceling other upcoming electric models and shifting more focus back to gasoline and hybrid vehicles.
