LOCATION: Municipality of Domokos, Central Greece. LINE: Main line Athens - Thessaloniki. New section Tithorea - Domokos. OPERATOR: TRAINOSE, member of Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group (FSI). LOCOMOTIVES: HellasSprinter (class 120) is the first class of electric locomotives of the Hellenic Railways Organisation (OSE). A total of 30 locomotives were built in two batches between 1996 and 2005. HellasSprinter locomotives are based on the EuroSprinter "ES 64P" prototype,which was adapted for a lower power of (5,000kW / 6,700hp),a lower weight of 80 tonnes and electric components suitable for the Greek 25 kV AC - 50 Hz system.
