Luxeed to Launch New Car on August 25th | Luxeed R7 2026 | First Look

Luxeed Auto announced its new window intercom feature on August 21st. Using an external microphone and speaker, this feature allows people inside and outside the vehicle to communicate through the vehicle window, enabling comfortable conversations even in challenging driving conditions. It will be released on August 25th. The window intercom function uses six external microphones and one external speaker. It can facilitate conversations inside and outside the vehicle when opening the window is inconvenient. The new R7 has been upgraded in terms of interior and exterior details, assisted driving, and configuration. It will feature a new Zhijie brand LOGO, and the entire series will be equipped with the Huawei ADS 4 assisted driving system, extending the CLTC pure electric range to 855 km. In terms of appearance, it maintains the overall design of the current model, with a new brand logo appearing in the center of the front hood and the center of the wheel hub. At the same time, the headlight cluster has been finely tuned, and decorative elements resembling matrix wicks have been added to enhance the sense of elegance. In terms of exterior color, the Luxeed R7 has been upgraded to the "Aurora Green" exterior color option, as well as Space Gray. Three complimentary colors, Gilded Black and Ceramic White, and five optional colors, including Phantom Purple, Sunlight Blue, Aquamarine, Warm Nebula, and Metropolis Red, are available. The sides and rear of the body remain largely unchanged. An optional Obsidian kit is available, featuring 21-inch multi-spoke smoked wheels, black rearview mirrors, black window moldings, a black rear wing, and a black rear logo. It's worth noting that the new logo branding is missing from the rear of the new vehicle, but the "LUXEED" English logo continues to be used. In terms of body dimensions, it is positioned as a mid-to-large SUV with length, width, and height of 4956 (4982)/1981/1634 mm, a 2950 mm wheelbase, and a five-seat layout. In terms of interior, the new R7 continues the overall design of the current model, adopting a yacht-style wraparound cockpit design. It is equipped with a 12.3-inch full-LCD instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch floating central control display. The steering wheel shape has been refined by changing from oval to rounded and incorporating a new Luxeed brand logo in the center. Furthermore, the center cupholder cover under the center console and the door trim are produced using a process officially called "Ningguang Mother of Pearl," which reflects a unique shine in the sunlight, adding a luxurious visual experience. The new vehicle will also feature luxury features such as zero-gravity seats for the driver and front passenger, a 21-speaker audio system, and a smart refrigerator with heating and cooling. In terms of assisted driving, it is equipped with Huawei's ADS 4 assisted driving system, which comes standard with a 192-line laser radar, a high-precision rear solid-state laser radar, a 4D millimeter radar, and an ADS small blue light. This system can perform high-speed/urban pilot-assisted driving, intelligent parking, an all-round collision warning system, and other functions, and boasts stronger active safety performance. In terms of power, the extended-range and pure-electric versions will continue to be offered. Compared to the current model, the extended-range version is equipped with a 1.5T extended-range power system with a maximum power of 115 kilowatts, while the rear-wheel-drive version is equipped with a drive motor with a maximum power of 200 kilowatts, accelerating from 0 to 100 kilometers in 7.4 seconds and achieving a WLTC fuel consumption of 5.68 liters/100 km. Optional 37 kWh and 53.4 kWh battery packs are available. The CLTC's pure electric range is 251 km and 360 km, with a combined range exceeding 1,600 km. The extended-range all-wheel-drive version offers a system power output of 365 kW and a torque of 679 Nm, while the official 0-100 km/h acceleration time is 4.9 seconds. Equipped with a 53.4 kWh battery pack, the CLTC's pure electric range is 331 km and the CLTC's combined range is 1,673 km. Furthermore, both vehicles support fast charging, reaching a charge from 20% to 80% SOC in just 15 minutes. The pure electric model is also available in rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions. The rear-wheel-drive version is equipped with a 215 kWh motor, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 5.9 seconds. Equipped with 82 kWh and 100 kWh battery packs, the vehicle's CLTC pure electric range is 667 km and 802 km, respectively. The pure electric all-wheel drive version comes with 365 kWh of system power, 0-100 km/h acceleration in 3.9 seconds, and a matching 100 kWh battery pack. The CLTC pure electric range is 736 km.
