DAF CF MX-11 Top End Tear Down & Rebuild

What started as a routine injector replacement turned into an inlet camshaft replacement job on this DAF CF MX-11. Last week, during what should’ve been a simple injector swap, I spotted signs of excessive wear on the cam followers — and sure enough, the inlet camshaft was also damaged. In this video, I walk you through the full process of replacing the camshaft and followers, setting the valve clearances, and getting this engine running spot-on again. No guesswork, all the torque settings and clearances are followed correctly as per DAF TRUCKS specifications.
