Vintage Cars at Bromyard Speed Festival 2016 (1926 Salmson Twin Cam)
The first ever Bromyard Speed Festival was held on 3rd April 2016. What a superb day! 5000 people lined the streets to see the 140 vehicles parade around the street track. Sincere thanks to the organisers of what I hope will become a regular event; more information can be found here: www.bromyardspeedfestival.co.uk This video focuses on the vintage cars present, specifically my 1926 Salmson Twin-Cam. William Hearne's lovely 1923 Diatto (that's the yellow one!) driven by Colin Bromley also features, along with the Sir Malcolm Campbell's world record 1920 Sunbeam 350HP which achieved over 150MPH in 1925. Many thanks also to the following for their suberb camera work: Cress de Little (Salmson on-board) Colin Bromley (Diatto on-board) Peter Williams Sam Makins Brian Hill More footage of the 1923 Diatto can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IXZJcPPtKQE
