Saab 9-3 Engine Rebuild, Day 1: Getting it up
This took a lot longer than it should have, but eventually I got it up on jack stands and started setting up my work area. Car: 2005 Saab 9-3 2.0T w/ BSR Stage 3 Tune, catless exhaust and suspension/brake mods. Symptoms: Rough idle, low power, black smoke & light oil from exhaust. Compression test showed extremely low pressure on Cylinder 3 at 60 psi. Wet test increased pressure to ~120 psi, pointing to piston rings or something else completely internal.
