This is Part 2 where we take on restoring the exhaust to original condition. This car had a strange alteration, someone took the exhaust down and sprayed one resonator black top and bottom. This isn’t a stock condition, but the muffler was in great condition with the OEM fade of metallic grey paint. First we use Dry Ice to clean the exhaust surface, then we use Ospho and steel wool to polish and seal the exhaust. Opsho is a phosphoric acid that neutralizes rust and protects the metal from rust.
