1936 Auto Union C Type under construction in my garage.
The build of a 1936 Auto Union copy is progressing well, nearly all the mechanical bits are done. Work on the aluminium bodywork will soon commence making this dimensionally correct car unique outside of Audi Tradition's stable. Although V16 engines are hard to come by the Porsche designed running gear on the Auto Union is replicated in the VW Beetle, swing axle at the rear and torsion bar trailing arms at the front. Many of the smaller items and nuts and bolts have been sourced from ebay.
