Morris Minor lighting fast overtake
Who says Moggies are not fast? Here’s me driving Maisie my 1965 Morris Minor to work (27 miles) early one morning. Watch the sheer breathtaking acceleration as I get pushed back in my seat, and my eyes watering as they get pushed back into their sockets with the G force!..... Maisie was in fine fettle that morning, engine running sweetly and eagerly, so I took my chance, overtaking on a gradient out of a roundabout. She keeps up with the traffic up to about 50, but like all moggies, she’s slow to get going. 0-60 in about 28 seconds... wow. Standard 1098 engine with electronic ignition. Not bad for an old lady... (the car that is-not me!)
