Mercedes Enthusiast – Mercedes-Benz C111 V8
In 2014, Mercedes-Benz Classic restored one of its surviving record/experimental cars of 1969 to 1979, fitting a 200hp (197bhp), 3.5-litre V8 from the W109/W111/R107 cars in order to revive the pioneering spirit of its C111. In spring 2015, Mercedes Enthusiast magazine was granted exclusive access to this car for a once in a lifetime drive around the Stuttgart region.
