Magna Steyr Mila Plus

Magna Steyr doesn't actually produce automobiles under its own brand name, instead serving as an engineering company, supplier and assembler of cars and trucks for other companies, with customers running the gamut from Audi and Volkswagen to BMW and Volvo. Still, the Austrian firm regularly creates concept cars intended to serve as rolling showcases of its impressive capabilities. The latest, called the Mila Plus, saw its global debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The two-seat hybrid sports car is focused on lightweight construction and bonding technologies (as seen on the Mercedes SLS AMG and Aston Martin Rapide, the company notes), along with a drivetrain that features a small, three-cylinder gasoline engine and a pair of electric motors in an all-wheel-drive configuration. According to Magna, it all adds up to a machine capable of hitting 62 miles per hour in 4.9 seconds while offering an electric-only range of about 47 miles (75 kilometers) and otherwise low emissions – though we're sure its eco performance varies based on how it's driven.
