Mercedes-Benz W153-1939 The car, which was restored for 15 years, came to us in the final stages of the restoration work. The goal was to give it the final touch so that the pure classic could begin to spend its second retirement 😉 The paint surface was, to put it mildly, terrible, and when we started polishing it soon became clear why this was so. It is a terribly soft lacquer, and polishing the car required a certain amount of time and knowledge. A large part of the process has also been recorded on video, so that this work can be remembered years from now. Hope you enjoy this video! Eesmärgiks oli anda talle viimane lihv, et puhas klassika saaks hakata veetma oma teist pensionipõlve 😉 Värvipind oli kergelt öeldes kohutav ning poleerimistöid alustades sai üsna pea selgeks, miks see nii on. Tegemist on kohutavalt pehme lakiga ja auto viimistlemine nõudis omajagu aega ning teadmisi. Suur osa protsessist on talletatud ka videole, et seda tööd meenutada ka aastate pärast.
