At the start of the Mille Miglia we got a glimpse of this very special car: Chassis 0265EU This 212 Inter Pinin Farina Coupe was ordered new by legendary Italian director Roberto Rosselini for Swedish actress Ingrid Bergman. With the luggage strapped to the roof, the two went on their honeymoon in chassis 0265EU, driving across Europe from Rome to Sweden. Like many of its sister cars, this 212 Inter was also eventually exported to the United States. Here it was restored twice and at one point finished in 're-sale red'. In recent years, the lovely little Ferrari was restored to its original colours as it returned into Italian hands. With the luggage roof reinstalled, the 212 Inter was shown at the 2012 Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este.
