Trucking in The 70's
This is a video put together from an old Super 8 video camera with no sound. The trucks you will see are 1963 White 220 Cummins, 10 speed roadranger and air lift rear axle. 1973 Gmc Astro, 318 Detroit engine, 13 spedd overdrive transmission and 38000 lb rear drives. Mt Brother Dave had the two Macks B61 and B615. We hauled Gravel back in early 70's, you will also see a few other trucks that worked for and helped us out from time to time. Some of these videos are shot at Fifth Wheel Truck Stop in MIlton when it first opened up. We used to park our trucks there getting repairs done at M&A truck service at Fifth Wheel. Dave and I stayed some nights during the week in Motel part of the Fifth Wheel, Even sleeping on a mattress on floor before Motel was finished !!
