I Unpackaged A Brand New Porsche 992.2 GT3 (60-Hour Detailing Transformation)
Unboxing a brand-new car is always special, but taking delivery of a delivery-mileage Porsche 911 GT3 (992.2) is next level. In this video, I take you through the entire 60-hour journey of preparing, perfecting, and protecting this incredible machine. The owner requested the dealership leave all factory transport wrap and interior seat covers intact, meaning you get to watch the raw, satisfying unboxing process right here in the bay. Finished in classic GT Silver over high-gloss California Gold wheels, this GT3 only had 200 miles on the clock. But as is often the case with brand-new cars, factory fresh doesn't mean flawless. After a deep, multi-stage exterior decontamination wash, I moved the car into my dedicated detailing and Paint Protection Film (PPF) bay to inspect the paint. Under the lights, I uncovered and safely removed several factory-delivered scuffs and scratches. With the paint corrected to near perfection, it was time for the ultimate armour. I fully wrapped the entire car in Avery Dennison SPF-X3 High Gloss PPF, ensuring this track weapon can actually be driven the way Porsche intended—without the fear of rock chips. To elevate the gloss to a mirror finish and ensure effortless maintenance, I topped the PPF with Modesta BC-04 nano-titanium ceramic coating for unparalleled hydrophobic protection. Finally, the interior received a thorough deep clean and a premium leather protection system to keep that new-car smell and feel alive. This was an exhausting but incredibly rewarding 60-hour detail on one of the best sports cars on the planet. Grab a drink, sit back, and enjoy the full transformation.
