However, there was a time that these new developments in engine configuration were available to a much larger market. Brands such as Cadillac, and the no longer in existence Marmon, knew that to stand apart from companies like Ford, it was going to require more than eight pumping pistons. In came the era of the low-end torque V12 and V16 engines that would shape the progression of the automobile for years to come!
