Fairthorpe Zeta, first time on the road for 34 years.
This Fairthorpe Zeta is the last complete one of only 6 built, it was badly burnt by fire whilst being driven in 1989 but is now back on the road following completion of an 11 year restoration, this was the first drive. The Zeta was the top of the range Fairthorpe, this one was built in 1960 by Bob Linwood from the Fairthorpe kit and was raced extensively that year at Silverstone, Brands Hatch and the Brighton Speed Trials. The engine is a Mk2 Zephyr straight 6, 2553cc with a Raymond Mays head, originally it was fitted with 6 Amal carburetors but is now running triple Weber 40`s.
