Removing Your Cars Emblems… “Debadging” Sooo EASY! #autobody #autobodypaint
This short video demonstrates two separate ways to remove your cars emblems often referred to as “debadging”. One way, my preferred method, uses air tools and more specifically an eraser wheel. The second way is chemically. With a paint safe adhesive remover, a little time to soak, and a plastic eraser wheel, you’re able to slowly and carefully clean the surface. Use fishing line to initially remove the decal/emblem. Enjoy.
About Debadging
Debadging is the process of removing the manufacturer's emblems from a vehicle. Common emblems to be removed include the manufacturer's logo as well as the emblems designating the model of the vehicle. Often debadging is done to complement the smoothed-out bodywork of a modified car, or to disguise a lower-specification model.
