Few German performance cars are quite as hyped these days as the E30 generation BMW 3 Series, but with that hype comes not only the likely chance of prices spiralling upward for mostly nostalgic reasons, as can be seen with the vastly overinflated JDM market, but also the risk of these cars not living up to the hype when it comes to actually owning and driving them... Naturally then I jumped at the chance to actually try one out, here in a lovely green 1989 shape 320i 4 door Saloon spec, with that smooth 2.0 litre straight 6 M20 engine and 5 speed manual gearbox.
