ACD Club First Reunion, Auburn, Indiana 1956
Back in 1956 members of the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Club which had been formed in 1952 decided to have a get together in Auburn, Indiana the home town of ACD cars. It was a Reunion of former employees of the Auburn Automobile Company and ACD Club members. Engineers who designed the cars were present as well as the famous body designer Gordon Buehrig who can be seen standing near of of his iconic Auburn Speedsters. Around 48 cars were present. It was the First Reunion. The event has become an annual event in Auburn and probably the best Classic Car event in the world. The film was taken by Thel Horn.
