They’re one of few companies to develop a liquid-hydrogen engine. You get all the noise and excitement of a gas engine, without the carbon emissions. How does it work? Liquid hydrogen is stored in a tank at -253 degrees Celsius. That hydrogen is pumped into a vaporizer, turning into a gas, where it is eventually pumped all the way to the engine cylinders, operating much like a gasoline engine would.
