In Episode 1, we kick off our cross-country road trip by heading to Chicago, the official starting point of America’s most famous highway. Driving a 2017 Mustang GT and a 2006 Pontiac GTO, we make our way across the Blue Ridge Mountains, deal with our first breakdown, and navigate the early miles of Route 66 the old-fashioned way — using physical maps, not Google Maps. From historic gas stations like Soulsby Service Station to the quiet backroads that still carry the spirit of the Mother Road, this episode sets the tone for the journey ahead.
