WilliamsF1's 10 epic races selected by Jonny Williams - Race 4. By Peter Windsor

It's now 1985. The British GP has already been staged at Silverstone (won by McLaren's Alain Prost) but even then the Williams FW10A-Honda had turned heads, with Keke Rosberg recording a jaw-dropping average lap speed of 161mph to take pole position. By early October there's a revised back end on the car from the pen of Enrique Scalabroni, and the FW10B is now ready and able to win its first GP. Ayrton Senna takes the pole at Brands for Lotus and again Keke is in fighting mood. It's Nigel Mansell, though, who sweeps through on a glorious late-summer's day to win his first race. https://www.eu.globebrand.com https://www.peterwindsor.com
