Show and Shine 1998
Channel 12, 11:00 PM News, Sunday, July 12, 1998. This was the first time the Scenic City Volks Folks made the news. The show as a one day event held in the parking lot of VW of Chattanooga. It was known simply as our first "Show and Shine." We learned a lot about putting on a car show that day. #1 on the list was "Don't have a show on asphalt in mid-July!" Notice that the news folks in Chattanooga didn't even know how to spell Volkswagen back then!
