We're looking at a 1948 Ferrari 166 MM Touring Barchetta in Red Paint. The car comes with the factory V12 engine, and a manual transmission. The car's Care Taker sharing the car is Doug from the Robert M. Lee Automobile Collection. The Collection has had this car since 1959. Doug shares details about this car. This Ferrari was the 1st Ferrari imported into the USA in March 1949 by Chinetti Motors. The 166 MM (Mille Miglia) was the successor to the 166 competition cars named from Ferrari’s win at the Mille Miglia in 1948. The car is considered one of the most important Ferrari’s in the world.
