It was a one-off concept built by Pietro Frua on the body of a 1974 Espada II. Once it was completed it received its own car number and was wheeled out to the public to see if they had any desire for it. At the time Lamborghini believed a four door market was viable and were looking to cater to it. This was something that Ferruccio would've loved. They would return to four doors when they introduce the Estoque concept in 2009, but unfortunately Lamborghini still hasn't made a sedan as of 2023.
