The Chinese Media is reporting, that Human Horizons will be halting production for 6 Months. There have been Rumours about Human Horizon the Makers of Hiphi having Financial Struggles. In 2023, Human Horizon entered a 5.6 Billion Dollar EV Manufacturing deal with Saudi Arabia. Whether the deal is still open is not clear to the public yet. A Circulating Internal Memo informs the workers, that they can resign if they cannot accept the non-payment of the social security. The Memo also states that entering the factory for all workers is forbidden. Also all employees who choose to stay with the company will only receive the basic salary, and no bonuses until further notice. Now what does this mean for Hiphi you might ask. Hiphi can easily come back from this. Given that the CEO has a good track record of managing companies. But what happens to all the Vehicle Orders they have already? Hopefully, this 6 Months break is to re-strategize. Hiphi has a sole facility in Yancheng, Shanghai where the said production has been going on since the inception of the company.
