Building and converting the 1:20 Tamiya McLaren MP4/5
This is a Tamiya 1:20 scale model of the McLaren M4/5 in which Ayrton Senna competed the 1989 F1 season. I transformed a Tamiya 1990 McLaren MP4/5B into a 1989 McLaren MP4/5 using a transkit made by MSM Creation, adding extra details to give it a realistic look.

The McLaren MP4/5, and its derived sister model, the MP4/5B, were highly successful Formula One racing cars designed by the McLaren Formula One team based in Woking, England, and powered by Honda's naturally-aspirated RA109E and RA100E V10 engines respectively.
