My first track-day in a Porsche 968 in the wet.
My first ever track-day in my car. The organisers mixed us with race prepared cars, so it was a bit daunting to begin with and the first few laps I was just learning where to go (and not crash). However I was impressed with the controlablility and the power of the 968 it is 26 years old after all, after a morning "givining it beans" I made the 300km (190miles) trip home without issue. PORSCHES ARE THE BEST!
About Porsche 968
The Porsche 968 is a sports car manufactured by German automobile manufacturer Porsche AG from 1991 until 1995. It was the final evolution of a series of water-cooled front-engine rear wheel drive models that began almost 20 years earlier with the introduction of the 924. It was intended to take over the entry-level position in the company lineup from the 944, which much of the vehicle was derived from.
