#MilleMiglia #Ferraridepoca #FerrarialleMilleMiglia #Classiccar Chapter V of XVI - The photos and videos of the album were taken in Rome ,at the Vallelunga racetrack, in Ronciglione and at Lake Vico, in the period 2008-2020. The Mille Miglia, defined by Enzo Ferrari as the most beautiful race in the world, came to life on the initiative of Brescia motor and car racing enthusiasts: Franco Mazzotti, Aymo Maggi, Renzo Castagneto and the journalist Giovanni Canestrini.  The race of about 1600 kilometers starts from Brescia, crosses central Italy ,passes through Rome and then returns to Brescia. The race ran from 1927 to 1940 and from 1947 to 1957 as a speed race. the Mille Miglia becomes a regularity race ,from 1987 . I think the successes achieved in the Mille Miglia have contributed substantially to the Ferrari legend.  In fact, after the war, Ferrari obtained eight victories of which six in a row (1948/1953), two hat-tricks (1956 and 1957), two doubles (1949 and 1950).  Drivers who have made the history of motoring have won at the wheel of Ferraris: Clemente Biondetti (1948 and 1949) Giannino Marzotto (1950 and 1953), Gigi Villoresi (1951) Giovanni Bracco (1952) Eugenio Castellotti (1956) and Piero Taruffi (  1957)
