It's been twenty years since Mercedes launched the A-Class. The current and fourth generation of the compact Mercedes has not much in common with the A-Class from 1997. From round, high and odd it changed into flat, sporty and modern. After being a guest of the world premiere in Amsterdam in February, now my journey takes me to Split in Croatia, where I can finally do my first test drive the new A-Class. On the outside clearly revised and inside with technology of the S-class the A-Class should attract new customers as well a Mercedes clients. A real highlight of the A-Class 2019: the new infotainment system MBUX with its voice control. My driving report with the A 180 d from Croatia showa what the A-Class 2019 really delivers and if it is as good as Mercedes tells us.
