Replica Ferrari 166 Project 1st Engine Run
This is a Ferrari 166 replica I'm building from scratch using a Chevy 2.8 engine and GM 700R4 engine. I have a bad left ankle which makes it difficult to use a clutch, thus the automatic trans. The skin is mostly .063 3003-H14 aluminum. The originals used .050 1100 (Italian version). The type I used is much more "real world parking lot" friendly. Everything was English wheeled. The next step is to planish and metal finish the body. I made my own electrical harness and it works well. I'll also do upholstery and interior.
