If you have been to the Goodwood Festival of Speed or if you are into a boutique supercar manufacturer you will have heard of Arash Farboud and Arash Motor Company. If not then stay here because this is a super cool story (and video). Arash Farboud Iranian-born entrepreneur founded Farboud Limited filled by a passion for design and cars and began developing the Farboud GT in 1999 under the name Farboud Ltd. This was launched at The Autosport Show held at the Birmingham NEC in 2001. He went on to design the Farboud GTS which was officially launched at the British Motorshow in London in 2004. The design and concept were later sold to Laurence Tomlinson owner of Ginetta Cars Company who kept the design and renamed the car the Ginetta F400. Arash sold his shares of Farbio to Michael Simmonds and continued as 100% shareholder of Farboud Ltd. This later became what is now Arash Motor Company. A company solely owned by Arash which Manufactures supercars like arash af8 with a V8 engine , arash af10 with a V12 engine and now the new Imperial Electric hyper car. Arash is a character, a lovely guy and genuinely passionate about business, designing and building cars. To give you an idea wee’ve spent 5 hours talking about all kinds of things to only realise at the end of the day that we didn’t record any video! Meeting Arash at Goodwood Festival of Speed last year was the highlight of the day for me and in this video hopefully, you will be able to get a feeling for this man who in his blood and DNA has entrepreneurship, passion for designing and manufacturing supercars. There are only a few people with balls and the money to do what this guy does and I’m glad to have met him.
