Race winning BMW E36 M3 Compact dyno tuning
Many of the M3’s we tune are on OEM engine management, but occasionally we get some in running on a standalone, aftermarket ECU. This particular E36 Compact race car has had an S50 M3 engine fitted, mated to a six speed sequential transmission and was presented to us running on SCS Delta 900 management. We was asked to iron out some of the running problems this engine had, particularly at lower and mid range engine speeds, and to maximise its performance overall, Which we delivered as it won at its very next race at donington park!
