This is an interesting car - The Changan Uni-K. It looks unique, luxurious and have more of European design styles. Changan is the oldest Chinese automaker in a way. Their history starts even before Karl Benz invented the first automobile, although they were initially making military supplies . It was in 1862 - Li Hongzhang - a well known Chinese stateman and industrialist at the time set up the Shanghai Foreign Gun Bureau. They started car manufacturing around 1980.
The company - Changan Automobile Co.Ltd (CCAG) manufacture and sells vehicles under its own branding - Changan, Deepal, Avatr, Oshan, Kaicene, as well as under foreign-branded joint ventures such as Changan Ford and Changan Mazda.
The Changan UNI-K is the second product of its UNI-series. The UNI-K was first shown in the Changan Vision-V Concept unveiled at the 2020 Beijing Auto Show in September 2020.
